Armed Robbery Of
Grocery Store

EL CAJON – On Sunday, December 02, 2007, at about 1250 hrs, the suspect
entered the Save-A-Lot grocery store located at 678
Jamacha Rd. The suspect posing as a shopper approached
the clerk as if to buy some items. The suspect then
produced a black handgun and demanded money. The clerk
held out the cash drawer and the suspect took an
undetermined amount of cash. The suspect fled the store
on foot in an unknown direction.
The
suspect also matches the description of a suspect who
robbed a Payless shoe store in Rancho San Diego just
prior to the Save-A-Lot robbery. That robbery has been
documented under SDSO case #07077987-L
This suspect is a White Male, age 30 to
40 years old standing 5’6” to 5’8” weighing about 180 to
190 pounds. He was seen wearing a red overt-shirt and
blue and black shirt underneath and blue jeans. He had
on a black watch cap and black sun glasses. The gloves
he is seen wearing were taken from a display in the
store just prior to the robbery.
