Armed Robbery Of
Convenience Store
EL CAJON – On Thursday,
July 19, at about 11:30pm, a lone suspect entered the 7 Eleven store
located at Ballantyne and Main Street and confronted the clerk. The
suspect simulated a handgun in his pocket and then demanded money.
The clerk handed the suspect an undetermined amount of cash and the
suspect left the store on foot.
Investigators have obtained video
surveillance footage of the incident and have identified a second
suspect. This person was in the store with the suspect a few
minutes prior to the robbery. The video is available to the
press by contacting Detective Barber.

Male, age 25 to 35 standing 5 feet 9 inches tall.
